Sigma Homes has announced the launch of its latest development - Mayflower Meadow - in the coastal village of Angmering, West Sussex. The £16m scheme will comprise 40 luxury semi-detached and detached homes, which will all achieve the highest A EPC-rating.
Located off Roundstone Lane, the 3-acre scheme is less than a mile from Angmering train station, and also within walking distance of the range of schools and local amenities in Angmering village centre.
The two-, three-, and four-bedroom houses range from 860 sq ft to 1,473 sq ft and are priced from £450,000. Sigma Homes will cover the cost of Stamp Duty on selected homes. The first phase of newly completed houses will be ready to move into, this spring.
Geoff Potton, Chief Executive, of Sigma Homes, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our Mayflower Meadow development. The village of Angmering has easy access to the coast and wonderful South Downs National Park, whilst also benefiting from frequent train services to Brighton, London Bridge and Victoria. The range of schooling in the area ensures these family-friendly new homes tick all the boxes.
“2023 marks Sigma Homes’ 10th year, and we now have a total of five eco-focused developments currently under construction across West Sussex. The enviable lifestyle this county affords attracts discerning buyers who do not want to compromise on design or build quality. We are immensely proud of the reputation we have established in this sought-after area, successfully delivering thoughtfully designed new homes, which reflect the local architectural vernacular. The energy-saving credentials of our homes also enable residents to lower their carbon footprint and household bills.”
Sigma Homes specialises in using the sustainable construction method of timber framing. The Mayflower Meadow homes are designed to reflect Angmering’s coastal location, with some plots having Cedral cladding, whilst others have red brick and rendered elevations, creating an attractive street scene.
The luxury internal accommodation is perfect for family life, offering spacious and well-thought-out designs. Some plots also benefit from additional space on a second floor, with en-suite bedrooms. Each dwelling has a turfed, private garden with patio area and designated parking. A number of homes benefit from garages, or undercroft parking, and all homes have IP65-rated electric car-charging points.
Flooring, tiling and integrated Bosch appliances are included as standard within the individually designed shaker style kitchens. The hotel-style contemporary bathrooms feature sanitaryware by Saneux. All of the homes have underfloor heating as standard to the ground floor, luxury flooring throughout, and built-in wardrobes to all bedrooms. High levels of insulation and high quality UPVC windows help to achieve an EPC A rating, enabling purchasers to qualify for Green Mortgage rates.
