Our Senior Planning Manager, Damian Sullivan, thoroughly enjoyed being interviewed by Heather Hilder-Darling during a ‘Let’s Talk Property’ show which was broadcast on Radio Reverb on Sunday, 24th April.
Damian talked about the Sigma Homes Group and his role in setting up the planning function for the business, as well as working to develop the strategic land side with his Group Land Director, Christopher East.
The one-hour discussion covered a host of diverse topics such as what goes into a major residential scheme planning application, the most interesting part of Damian’s role and talking about the main challenges of Planning at the moment. Other subjects included forthcoming planning legislation, modern renewable technologies and the place of AI.
Of course, Damian also talked about the adversarial nature of Planning.
