WAYS TO HELP YOU MOVE

West Sussex is not short of things to do. For those who enjoy art and culture, there are an array of theatres, cinemas and museums. West Sussex is a foodie’s delight, and you will find multiple Michelin Star rated restaurants, including Gravetye Manor located in East Grinstead, as well as a range of independent cafés and pubs. Known for its warmer climate, West Sussex is ideal for wine production, and many of its vineyards offer tours and tastings.

For a day out at the beach, you’re spoilt for choice. Angmering is just minutes away from the coastline, with plenty of options, including East Preston beach, which is ideal for an enjoyable walk and a bite to eat in the nearby café.

West Sussex’s only city, Chichester, makes for a great day of exploring. The cathedral city has many Grade II listed buildings and pretty cobbled streets. Bishops Palace Gardens is a short distance from the cathedral itself and there are plenty of options for food and drink as well as a wide range of shops, including both high street names and independent boutiques.

Benefiting from excellent travel links, your new home in West Sussex will be well-connected. Chichester provides a direct link to the M27 and A27, which connects Hampshire, Kent and Sussex, and the A24 and A29 provide routes to London and mid-Sussex.

West Sussex boasts great rail connections too, with the Southern Railway network covering the county and offering journeys to coastal destinations and the South Downs. You can also reach London Victoria in just over an hour from Chichester. The West Coastway Line covers services along the south coast and also provides a connection to Brighton.

For those travelling further afield, there are three main airports serving West Sussex, Gatwick, Heathrow and Southampton, all of which are easily accessible via road.
